For those who are new here, Hi! I am Kacie, a Speech Therapist with Growth Pediatric Therapy. Along with being a Speech Therapist, I am also a MOM. Before I became a mom, I did not realize how stressful it was to worry if my child was meeting milestones! But I found myself constantly trying to remember what my daughter should be doing at each stage. With this blog, I want to save YOU from that same stress! The following is a quick speech and language checklist for some of the milestones your little one should be meeting (from 1 year old to 4 years old). Please feel free to use this to hopefully ease your mind or act early if your child is not meeting their expected milestones!
While this is not EVERY milestone, it is comprised of some of the most important milestones we look for with speech and language.
